NEAR ENDPHASE—Drought results in redish growth watering hole. I'm not
sure what the striking crimson red groundcover is, but it must be a salt-loving
Goosefoot of some kind . . . Percipitation in some of these areas is down to around
2 inches a year. On the road in the American Northwest.
