For me, even ordinary power poles like those pictured above
come vibrantly alive in the light of a Montana day. The form
becomes so intensely crisp and clear that one has the distinct
feeling of looking not at merely specific structures, but rather
something so pure and etheric that it seems to emerge straight
out of a kind of platonic or generic template.
