Hell's Canyon, view East from Oregon side . . Behind the ridge in
the center of the image lies the old copper mining town, Cuprum.
It's now making something of come-back with 50 year-round residents
and a general store. Further to the left of the ridgeline is where
the notorious Kleinschmidt Grade cuts a breath-taking path
down the deepest gorge in the world.
